Do I need a complete specification before contacting you?
No. Share what you know about the process, material, range, speed and problem. I can help identify which missing details will affect the equipment choice.
Can Gauge Advisor help with an existing system?
For represented equipment, I can review the request from any location and help coordinate the appropriate support. Include the manufacturer, model, serial number, facility location and symptoms. Direct service arrangements depend on the equipment and location.
Can I contact Gauge Advisor about a project anywhere in the world?
Yes. Gauge Advisor welcomes equipment project inquiries worldwide. Send a brief description of the application and your facility location. I will review the requirements and help identify the next step. Depending on the equipment and location, I may handle the project directly or coordinate with the manufacturer and its regional representative.
Can you visit our facility?
Onsite reviews are available for qualified equipment projects when seeing the process firsthand will improve equipment selection or application review. I travel regularly in the Western U.S. and Western Canada. For any project location, we confirm who will provide onsite support, the visit scope and timing, manufacturer participation and any unusual travel expenses in advance. My application guidance for represented equipment is provided at no separate consulting charge. Any manufacturer service or travel charges are confirmed as part of the project.
Can I send a drawing, sample or specification?
Yes. Mention the available files or samples in the form. If they are confidential, I can arrange an NDA or secure exchange before you send them.
What happens if more than one technology could work?
I will compare the practical tradeoffs and narrow the next step around the process, fit, performance and integration requirements.
Does Gauge Advisor charge for application support?
No separate consulting fee is charged for helping select, quote, demonstrate or coordinate equipment from the manufacturers Gauge Advisor represents. Gauge Advisor is compensated by the manufacturer through the normal sales channel when equipment is sold. Working through Gauge Advisor does not add a separate consulting fee or sales-rep surcharge to the equipment quotation.
